About the creator
Shiho Takanashi
Thank you for visiting Jibun Stocks.
As you invest, the list of data you want to check each day grows: the Nikkei 225, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, exchange rates, interest rates and commodity prices.
After using various financial websites, I began to wish I could bring together just the markets I wanted to see, in the order I preferred, on a single screen.
That wish inspired me to create Jibun Stocks.
A personal market dashboard for every investor
Here, you can choose the indexes, ETFs, individual stocks, currencies, yields and commodities that interest you, then arrange your tabs and charts however you like.
We all invest in different assets and follow different markets.
Some investors focus on U.S. stocks, while others follow Japanese stocks. Many also want to check USD/JPY, U.S. Treasury yields, oil and gold alongside equities.
My aim is to give every investor a dashboard they can make their own, rather than a market watchlist chosen by someone else.
What matters to this site
I want Jibun Stocks to be simple, easy to read and comfortable to use every day.
Numbers alone do not always explain what is happening in the market. That is why the site also offers market analysis, introductions to indexes and securities, and guides to reading stocks, currencies and yields together.
When preparing articles, I aim to consult primary sources, including companies, index providers and public institutions, wherever possible. When drawing on news coverage, I also aim to check multiple sources before putting the information together.
This site does not aim to recommend investments in specific financial products.
I want it to provide tools for following markets and information to help you think about investing.
The meaning behind the name
I do not believe there is one right way to invest.
I want each investor to choose the information they need, rather than have the site decide what they should watch.
That idea gave the site its name, which reflects making your market view your own.
I hope you will create your own dashboard and make it one of the tools you use to follow the markets.
If you have feedback, find a problem, or would like an index or security added, please let me know through the contact page.
I will continue improving the site, step by step, to make it easier to use.
