Mitsubishi Heavy Industries supplies energy systems, industrial machinery, aerospace and defense products. Its equipment and maintenance services support power generation, transport and other infrastructure worldwide.
History and development
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries traces its origins to the Nagasaki shipyard business in 1884. It was split into three companies in 1950 and reunited in 1964. Shipbuilding provided a base for machinery, energy and aerospace, while separation and reunification shaped the modern company.
