316A is a Tokyo-listed ETF aiming to follow the NYSE FANG+ Index. It focuses on about ten large US technology and growth companies, generally at equal weights, so each constituent can have a noticeable effect.
History and development
Daiwa Asset Management introduced iFreeETF FANG+ (316A) in January 2025, offering Japanese exchange-traded access to the NYSE FANG+ index launched in 2017. Its exposure inherits the benchmark's concentrated, equal-weighted selection rather than representing the entire equity market.
