Intel designs and manufactures processors and other semiconductors. It supplies computing products for PCs, servers, networks and edge devices, and also develops contract manufacturing services.
History and development
Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore founded Intel on July 18, 1968. Integrated-circuit development led to memory and microprocessors. Its heritage includes both chip design and fabrication, not only the processor brands associated with personal computers.
